Oral Surgeon Anyone?
Nov 1st, 2011 By Derek GLast weekend we were filming for Blake Shipman's new movie and I went a tad bit long on a new dirt double we made. I Bounced my face off the clutch perch and suffered a slight concussion and a massive new hole in my face. Upon further inspection part of my gum's were torn off as well, thanks to the University of Minnesota medical team they were able to stitch everything back together. Soo that leave's me out for a few weeks, nothing to serious but I strongly recommend everyone to wear mouth guards. I've knocked my teeth out once before, and since then I've never rode without one. They are awkward at first, but they 100% saved my teeth this time and they also reduce the risk of concussion.
